Wow, I have not been on tumblr in a while! I’ve been really busy with a lot of things, like graduating and all that. I’ve also started working on making visual novel games using Ren’py, which is pretty exciting. I’m going to be working on several projects, but I thought I would post some early sketches of what I’m working on for the horror game I’m planning out. I really love haunted house stories…
I’ll post more about the game later, hopefully with some pictures that are a little more finished.
So I was kind of inspired by aidosaur’s tarot card picture so I ended up making one for Casca. I don’t know a lot about tarot but I looked up some meanings and the seven of swords makes sense for him. This was a lot of fun to make, I kind of want to make a few more, haha.
This picture looks sort of weird to me now, but it’s already done so I’m just going to put it here… I liked doing the shading on this one though.
Some Casca doodles I’ve been doing. I’ve been trying to design a cool coat for him so I ended up drawing him in a bunch of different ones (the real one probably won’t look like any of these though). Also I watched all of Utena recently so I drew a bunch of characters as duelists… I really like the duelist outfits…

I didn’t really feel like doing shading on this one… Anyway, here’s Casca’s mom and another lady, I guess when they were younger? I really need to practice drawing older people, haha. And I should really figure out a consistent style of fantasy clothes. So much stuff to do.

I’ve been drawing Az a lot lately… I just felt like drawing him with a hat for some reason. Oh yeah, this is the first thing I’ve done in photoshop cs6, I finally got a new version after having cs2 for forever. It works pretty well so far!

I’m trying to draw more pictures that look like actual scenes… I want to make this comic so bad, but I still have so many things to figure out. :(
This is actually pretty old, but I don’t think ever put it up here? I opened it up for reference and I ended up fixing the things that bothered me about it before, haha. I still need to figure out Ethan’s actual tattoo design though, so that’s still bothering me… Also I should practice lineless art more, I want to get better at it.
Wow hopefully this doesn’t look weird, I’m not used to this new tumblr stuff… Anyway, I’ve been sketching MV, Kat, and Rex from my scifi story constantly since I’ve gotten back to school, I probably have like 15 pages of them now. It’s getting a little ridiculous… But yeah, I’m trying to draw people in different positions and stuff too, I think it is helping? I really want to improve this semester…

It’s nice that I can draw stuff like this pretty quickly now? I mean, the lines and stuff aren’t great but I think it looks pretty okay and it didn’t take too long…
I need to start practicing drawing stuff that I’m not good at, so I thought I would draw some background stuff… It’s pretty messy, but I kind of like it. I will keep trying…
